Through a partnership with the Trust for Public Land New York City Playground program, an actual play space will replace the black top-side yard where New Voices and P.S. 295 students currently play.  Very exciting! The process, which will take a couple of years, fully engages students in figuring out how this play space should look and feel. TPL has been working with students after school to explore design elements. Students, in turn, have offered their ideas for how the yard might look. Parents and students will have an opportunity to vote soon on two final designs. The anticipated groundbreaking is in 2017.
